Identifying the improvement opportunities in the organization and the best way to optimize the organization design, information flows and meeting structures, is the first step.

Step 3 is to detail the desired organizational culture and accompanying leadership behaviors. This is a key step as organizational design comes to life by employees living it.

2.
Testing the organizational design is the second step. Concrete examples are used to see if the desired optimizations are reflected in the new design. In this step specific behaviors and performance indicators are identified as well.

4.
Embedding the new way of working in day to day work is where the implementation of the new way of working really happens. By providing leaders with a couple of tools, they can fully enable their people to thrive.
